New Living Room, Dining Room and Hallway

September 6th, 2008

Through a lot of hard work and a lot of scrounging and saving we were able to redo the living space on our main floor. Our old dining room has been replaced by a vibrant garnet-clad living room and theatre. It features a completely brother-constructed and installed 10ft’ wide projection screen being fed with beautiful images from a new digital projector. Watching hockey games and movies is an unbelievable experience.

Our old living room has been replaced by a new dining room. The carpets were replaced with pine wood laminate and our dining tables and benches look great in it! We also painted the main hallway a deep ‘bear-rug’ brown to tie it all together.
Our house is looking beautiful. Please come by soon to see it!

An educational tour of Labatt’s Lineup

October 19th, 2007

Our dear friends at Labatt hosted our pledge team and some choice actives plus some beautiful lady friends for an evening at the prestigious Labatt Institute. Situated in an office building downtown, the bar has a large number of domestic and international beer on tap for tasting and educational purposes.

Our boys were thanked at the end of the evening for such a civil display and the evening left smiles on everyone’s face. Our new guys are enjoying being part of the fraternity more and more and it is opportunities like this that are coming to form the backbone of the Zeta Zeta social calendar.

Next trip to the institute is in January. Granville clubs be advised!

New Sports Jerseys

October 15th, 2007

Our sports program this year has been given a shot of adrenaline with wicked new jerseys. Everyone chipped in and got one of their own featuring their last name and number. The fraternity also jumped in and purchased enough to cover our teams sufficiently. ZZ also took care of the goalie equipment for our ball hockey team and it has been worth it! Playoffs everywhere this year, watch out PSI U IS COMING

Exchange with Kappa Kappa Gamma

October 3rd, 2007

For our first exchange of the 2007-2008 academic year at UBC we decided to pair with the sweethearts of the sorority world - the Kappa Kappa Gammas. We went all out on this one and had a semi formal dinner in Greek style. The ladies loved the evening and could not say enough of the night. Next up is the exchange with the Thetas. Theme: Iron Chef. Stay tuned!
